Universal grabs
The TPTAG universal grab is extremely versatile and has a wide area of application, thanks to its design. The lack of chains and ropes saves time and makes the universal grab a highly efficient option for various loading and lifting procedures.

Please note:
The plate clamps are only suitable for transporting materials with a surface hardness below HRC 30.
The universal grab is characterised by a very large jaw capacity.
The clamping force is retained by means of spring tension in the clamping jaw, even if there is slack in the chain. The universal grab can be opened by means of a quick-open mechanism, by lifting and simultaneously pulling the lever out.
Grabs with a load capacity up to 1.25 t are also available with a protective lining on the clamping jaws. This decreases the jaw capacity (see table) by 10 mm.
Universal grabs with a load capacity of more than 2.0 t are equipped with flyer chains. Grabs with a load capacity of up to 2.0 t come with round chains.
