Crate grabs
Crate grab with tipping device
The crate grab with tipping device not only allows safe and gentle transport of stacking boxes, but can
empty them in mid-air as well. The grab fulfils the German accident prevention guideline for load-handling equipment (UVV 18 of the UBG 9a). Unintended opening of the grab
is prevented by a safety lock. The jaws grab under the rim of the crate (form-locking). The tipping device can only rotate 100°. The tipping movement is only possible after a safety lock has been unlocked.

Crate grabs
The crate grabs of the TP-TKA a/i series are easy to handle and grab the crates at the side or front, underneath the stacking edges. When the crate is lifted, the crate grab presses into the edge of the container with its two clamping rails. The moveable jaws press the edge of the crate gently against the outside support rails (form-locking).
After the crate has been set down, the safety catch snaps into place automatically, and holds the crate grab open.
To lift the stacking crate after the support rails are correctly positioned, the safety catch has to be manually pulled back until it lies over the safety bolt When the crate is lifted some more, the clamping rails of the grab locks into the outer rim of the crate, and safely lifts it.
