Spring reels
 Spring reels by transprotec are used for automatic reeling of flexible energy and control lines for energy supply (electrical current) and/or data transfer for moving equipment.
The spring reels that are available from transprotec are suitable both for horizontal and vertical reeling
 Most of the spring reels have been designed to allow a change in the direction of rotation.
The reel is equipped with a bulk wrap winding reel body. It provides a high degree of protection against corrosion. The sheet-metal parts can be either galvanised or plastic-coated, depending on the type.
The bearings of the spring reels are lubricated for life.
The slip ring body housings offer IP 65 or IP 55 protection for metal housings.
The spring assemblies of the reels consist of spiral springs and offer a service life of approx. 100,000 movements or 50,000 stress cycles. When the springs start to show signs of fatigue, the spring assemblies can easily be exchanged without complicated connecting and disconnecting of the lines.
